Hello! I’m so pleased you’ve found your way to my official website for my newest novel,
The Canary Club.
The Canary Club is a YA novels set in the roaring 20’s and early readers are hailing it as Romeo and Juliet meets The Great Gatsby, which is flattering beyond words.
Recently I traveled to Leadville Colorado to visit a unique new speakeasy as part of my research for the book. The club, Wilde’s Green Hour, was amazing and the staff was so helpful as I pulled together the last details I needed for Canary. If you’re looking for a cool haunt, I highly recommend making the trek. Not only is the quirky mountain town a lot of fun itself, but the ambiance of the speakeasy is authentic and absolutely dripping with all the riotous fun that encapsulates the era.
I’m pleased to say the finished manuscript is now in the very capable hands of my agent Nadia Cornier of Firebrand Literary and her Co-Agent Cristi Marchetti, both of whom will be helping to shop the novel to potential publishers. I know this can be a long process, but I am beyond excited to get this newest offering into the hands of readers just as soon as possible.
I’d also like to take a moment to thank my fantastic newsletter subscribers who submitted items for the drink menu on this website. It was a contest I ran and the response was overwhelming. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, and congratulations to the winners!
